I have been making things since my childhood whether it was a still life made with rocks, branches and autumn leaves on the bank of a river or a sculptural stack of very colorful cupcakes for a friend’s birthday. Making the invisible visible. I grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania and moved home to take a teaching post at Albright College in 1984 . My undergraduate degree is from Indiana University in Bloomington Indiana.
The following year I was honored with an internship focusing on collage at the Rhode Island School of Design. I completed my Master of Fine Arts in 1981 at the University of Cincinnati. My artwork is in innumerable collections including Capitol Blue Cross Corporate Headquarters, The Reading Public Museum, and The Hill School. One recent exhibition at The Empire State Building with glass artist Josh Simpson visually questioned the relationship between art and science. The Four Arts in Palm Beach Florida invited me to a lecture on The History of Collage and to teach a workshop. For that project I starred in a spoof film short as Jane Bond. … Collage 007. I have been a studio artist, professor, lecturer and arts advocate for thirty plus years as well as president of All Together Art, a company that specializes in the creation and placement of contemporary fine arts.
