Kris Lewis (b. 1978; lives and works in Los Angeles, California) studied illustration at University of the Arts in Philadelphia. A reverence for the Old Masters informs his depictions of the human figure, which serves as a vector for hidden stories, delicate emotion and finding truth. He has exhibited widely in the U.S. as well as London, Rome and Hong Kong. Solo exhibitions: David B. Smith Gallery.
