I have studied and continue to regularly study the works and techniques of renowned pastel artists, most notably Karen Margulis, for whom I have great admiration. Since I was a little girl, color in the landscape has intrigued me. My parents introduced me to the world through travel at a young age, and these experiences, both domestic and abroad, have helped to shape my love for the beauty that is found all around us. I am a juried member of the Pastel Society of America and subsequently a member of the International Association of Pastel Societies.
I am a pastel artist and full-time high school teacher of Spanish. I live in Medford, New Jersey with my husband, Frank, and our two young children, Frankie and Audrey. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in International Business and Spanish. After dedicating eight years to business in Philadelphia and NYC, I decided to go into teaching, which has afforded me the opportunity to dedicate time to my love for painting.
